Dr. Braunreiter has dual certifications in both sports medicine and family medicine, which allows him to manage both medical and orthopedic conditions. He is the team physician for the Houston Dynamo MLS team and Pope John XXIII High School in Katy, and a physician member for the Major League Soccer Concussion Committee Dr. Braunreiter has also served as the team physician to the Houston Texans, University of Houston, Houston Baptist University, the World Wrestling Entertainment organization, and Clements and Terry High Schools in Fort Bend County. He has been appointed the director of the new primary care sports medicine fellowship at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Sugar Land and previously served as the director of the sports medicine fellowship at Memorial Family Practice in Houston. Prior to arriving in Houston in 1999, Dr. Braunreiter served as team physician for Beloit College, the Beloit Snappers Minor League Baseball Club, numerous high schools in southern Wisconsin, and medical director for the St. Louis Marathon in 1994.
