Dr. Braunreiter has dual certifications in both sports medicine and family medicine, which allows him to manage both medical and orthopedic conditions. He is the team physician for Houston Dynamo, Pope John XXIII High School in Katy and a physician member for the Major League Soccer Concussion Committee. Dr. Braunreiter completed his family practice residency at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and his sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Dominy completed his hand and upper extremity fellowship at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, where his training encompassed both common and atypical conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Dominy has been actively involved in numerous studies, volunteer programs and mission trips to Juarez, Mexico.

Dr. Hicks is one of the leading joint replacement surgeons in the greater Houston and Fort Bend area, with vast experience in all aspects of the procedure. He is highly proficient in the latest procedures that allow for quicker recovery times, enabling patients to return to their active lifestyles. He is the team physician for Austin High School, and has served in that capacity since its inception in 1995. Dr. Hicks completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UTMB and went on to complete an adult reconstructive fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.


Jeffrey Kozak, M.D.

Dr. Kozak is a primary care sports medicine physician, which allows him to manage both medical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions. He has experience in treating athletes of all levels, the general active population as well as those with diseases or conditions that make an active lifestyle challenging. Dr. Kozak understands the difficulties associated with medical conditions such as asthma, type II diabetes and arthritis, to name a few, and works with each patient individually to manage their medical condition to support their lifestyle. He is the team physician for Hightower High School and during his fellowship gained valuable experience working with the Houston Dynamo, Houston Aeros, Rice University soccer and volleyball, Fort Bend ISD football, Fort Bend ISD Bush High School (all sports), the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and several marathons. Dr. Kozak graduated from the University Of North Texas Health Science Center College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and the Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency program. He completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship with Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

Dr. Maffet has extensive experience in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee and uses the most advanced techniques and individualized care to get his patients back to their healthy lifestyles. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and his sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. Maffet, a clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine, has been the team physician for Houston's Comets and Thunderbears and HBU athletics.

Dr. Matsu is a well known general orthopedic surgeon in the greater Houston and Fort Bend area, who has earned his peers' respect and patients' trust. He graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Medicine in Winnipeg, Canada, and completed a cardiovascular fellowship and orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Matsu served as the medical director of the Houston Aeros Hockey team for 14 years and as an NFL disability examiner for the Bert Bell Foundation and the NFL Players Association.

Dr. Muffoletto was the assistant professor of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at UTMB in Galveston for five years before starting his private practice in 2003. As a former educator, he prides himself on thoroughly educating each patient and is known for providing compassionate, personalized care that emphasizes conservatism. Dr. Muffoletto completed his residency program at Maryland Medical System Division of Orthopedics and his orthopedic spine fellowship at UTMB Galveston.

Dr. Phan is one of the leading hand surgeons in the greater Houston and Fort Bend area, and he serves as a team physician for athletics in Alief ISD. He is highly skilled in the latest technology and is gifted at putting patients at ease and thoroughly discussing their treatment options. Dr. Phan completed his residency at UTMB and his fellowship in hand surgery at UT Health Science Center in Houston.

Dr. Renney serves as the co-medical director for the Houston Aeros Hockey team, and also as the team physician for Willowridge High School in Fort Bend ISD. Dr. Renney is a Doping Control Officer for the United States Anti-Doping Drug Agency and was selected as a Doping Control Officer for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. He completed his residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center in San Bernardino, California.

Dr. Sitter is the team physician for Dulles, Elkins, Kempner and Travis high schools in Fort Bend ISD and Stafford High School in Stafford ISD. He served as the medical director for Justin Sports Medicine during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 10 years. Dr. Sitter completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UT Health Science Center in Houston and his fellowship in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Valdez has introduced a number of advanced techniques in ankle arthroscopy, tendon repairs and endoscopic plantar fascia release. Dr. Valdez has been a team physician serving Alief ISD for 22 years. He has completed over 25 marathons, including the Houston, New York and Marine Corp Marathon in Washington D.C. Dr. Valdez completed a pediatric medicine internship prior to his orthopedic surgery residency at UTMB and a fellowship in surgery of the foot and ankle at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Wood has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal injuries and degenerative disorders and engages each patient to be an active participant in their own care. He enjoys giving back to the community and volunteers as a speaker on spine health at numerous local industries and organizations. Dr. Wood completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Pennsylvania State University and his spine surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado.
